I am Bill Bolwell, Civil Engineer PE0003352 in Victoria, and MIE/CPEng6701 in Australia.

I started Civil&Soil in 1996. I have worked for other firms, including soil testing firms.

I mainly do site investigations and classifications according to AS2870. These are known as “soil tests”. I do them for light structures like houses, pools and factories. I can do footing probes, soil pollution samples, land capability assessments LCA, percolation tests, wind ratings, bushfires attack levels BAL and spot levels.
